People everywhere are self conscious about their belly fat; but what do you do when you work all day and you sit behind a cubicle and can not find the time to exercise? Well we decided to dedicate this article for women who are trying to get rid of belly fat. This issue is more important to the women because they tend to not find themselves attractive to the opposite sex if they notice themselves gaining weight or having to buy a bigger pants size.

If you are struggling to lose weight then I sympathize with you. I too have been in that same situation where I felt as though I looked fat and my belly hung over my pants. Nothing is more embarrassing (for me) than to lift your arms above your head and for you to expose your belly to people who are around you. You feel as though they want to say something; however they are too polite to do so.

Well one of the things that you can do to lose belly fat on women and anyone else who wants to shed a few pounds is to cut out the soft drinks. Unfortunately they are not good for you. They have no nutritional value and are full of sugars. When I cut out my soft drinks I noticed a huge change in that itself alone. So any time you begin to feel thirsty; instead of getting a cold soft drink from your refrigerator get a nice cold glass of water.

Most people do not drink enough water; we should be drinking at least eight glasses of water everyday. It is very good for keeping our body hydrated; plus it will also help your body cleanse itself while helping you lose weight. If you are able to lose weight; then you will lose belly fat.

Mayonnaise was another item that I cut out of my diet. At first it was hard at the beginning because I always ate my sandwiches with a ton of it. But if you take the time to read the ingredients on the jar; then you will realize that it is nothing but fat. So next time you fix that sandwich or eat a burger; instead of putting mayonnaise on it try putting mustard instead.

Candy bars and other chocolates are a no no if you want to lose belly fat. Unfortunately it seems as though everything that we enjoy is not good for you. However there are times that you can still eat this food; if you do it in moderations. I have learned that I can still eat some of my favorite foods if I can learn how to control my portions. You will notice as you continue on your journey to losing weight and trying to get into better shape that anything can be bad for you if you eat too much of it.
